Innovators: Reception

The Innovators class is taught by Mrs Austin and Mrs Carvosso.

They are supported by Miss Sampson, the class Teaching Assistant.

The children in the Reception class follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and use the updated Development Matters framework. A copy of the key information about this document can be found below.

Whilst the children are in the class, they will develop their learning through play outside and inside the classroom.

Below you will see the long-term plan for the key texts we use in the classroom.

Also attached is the half-termly overview which is sent to parents and carers at the start of each half-term.

Some examples of displays and different areas that you can find inside our classroom.

Our classroom has a prayer space too, to allow the children the opportunity to find a quiet space for reflection or to explore different bible stories in a cosy, comfortable part of the classroom.
