Right to Appeal
If your child has not been offered a place at Hope Community School, Sidcup, you have the right of appeal, in line with the School Admissions Appeal Code (DfE,1st February 2012), to an Independent Appeal Panel.
If you wish to appeal, you should complete the appeal form below and return it to the school.

Deadline for lodging Appeals against a decision not to offer a place at Hope Community School. |
| June - July 2022: |
Appeals will be heard up to 40 school days after the deadline. Appellants will receive at least 10 days notice of their appeal hearing. Decision letters will be sent within 5 school days of the hearing wherever possible. |
| Late applicants: |
Appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals - where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged. |
| In-Year Appeals | Will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged. |
